In Friday's non-league contest, the host Tipton Blue Devils basketball team scored a close 49-46 win over the Carroll Cougars.

The Blue Devils (7-2) will now prepare for their contest against Maconaquah (Bunker Hill, IN). The Braves come into the non-league contest with a 6-1 record.

In their next game, the Cougars battle the Delphi Community Oracles (Delphi, IN) in a Hoosier Heartland contest, on Friday, January 10. Carroll will attempt to better on its 7-1 season record.
