Utah High School Basketball - Cedar Valley can't hold off Hillcrest

Hillcrest Huskies (Midvale, UT) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Cedar Valley Aviators (Eagle Mountain, UT), 58-55 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Hillcrest upgrades its record to 10-4 on the year. The Huskies host Jordan (Sandy, UT) to face the Beetdiggers in a 4A Region 10 match on Tuesday, January 7. The Beetdiggers enter the match with a record of 5-9.

The Aviators now sport a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mountain Ridge for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 7. Cedar Valley will face a Sentinels squad coming off a 68-56 non-league win over Farmington (Farmington, UT). The Sentinels record now stands at 7-4.
