Alabama High School Basketball - Cordova trounced by West Point
January 3, 2025: Cordova, AL 35550 West Point Warriors (Cullman, AL) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Cordova Blue Devils (Cordova, AL), 64-30 in a non-league match.
With the victory, West Point advances its record to 16-4 on the year. The Warriors travel to Deshler (Tuscumbia, AL) to meet the Tigers in a non-league match on Friday, January 10. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 10-8.
The Blue Devils now own a 6-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tarrant for a 4A Area 9 match on Saturday, January 4. Cordova will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 54-47 non-league win over Pleasant Grove (Pleasant Grove, AL). The Wildcats record now stands at 9-4.
