Kansas High School Basketball - De Soto holds off Mill Valley

In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting De Soto Wildcats basketball team scored a close 52-50 triumph over the Mill Valley Jaguars.

The Wildcats (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against Shawnee Heights (Tecumseh, KS). The Thunderbirds go into the United Kansas contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Shawnee Heights nipped Hayden (Topeka, KS), 61-52, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Jaguars confront the Olathe South Falcons (Olathe, KS) in a Sunflower contest, on Friday, January 10. Mill Valley will attempt to better on its 3-1 season record. The Falcons go into the contest with a 3-1 record after their 84-60 league win over Shawnee Mission North (Shawnee Mission, KS).
