The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Paradise Valley Trojans (Phoenix, AZ) and the host Dobson Mustangs (Mesa, AZ), observed Paradise Valley's basketball team knock off Dobson by a score of 72-56.

The Trojans (10-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Cactus (Glendale, AZ). The Cobras come into the non-league challenge with a 3-9 record. In their last challenge, Cactus prevailed over North Canyon (Phoenix, AZ), 61-48, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Mustangs encounter the North Canyon Rattlers (Phoenix, AZ) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 4. Dobson will attempt to improve on its 5-6 season record. The Rattlers come into the challenge with a 2-9 record after their 61-48 non-league loss to Cactus (Glendale, AZ).
