The Ripon Indians were victorious over the host El Capitan Gauchos basketball squad by a final score of 64-49 in Friday's non-league outing.

Next, the Indians face the Hughson Huskies (Hughson, CA) in a Trans Valley League outing, on Wednesday, January 8. Ripon will attempt to upgrade on its 7-8 season record.

The Gauchos (9-6) will now prepare for their outing against Gregori (Modesto, CA). The Jaguars enter the non-league outing with a 14-3 record. In their last outing, Gregori ran past Bradshaw Christian (Sacramento, CA), 76-51, in a non-league outing.
