In Friday's non-league contest, the host Magna Vista Warriors basketball team scored a good 52-38 win over the Franklin County Eagles.

The Warriors (3-7) will now prepare for their contest against Tunstall (Dry Fork, VA). The Trojans come into the Piedmont contest with a 1-10 record.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Floyd County Buffaloes (Floyd, VA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, January 4. Franklin County will attempt to better on its 3-6 season record.
