Geneseo Blue Devils (Geneseo, NY) supporters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting York Golden Knights (Retsof, NY), 55-50 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Geneseo advances its record to 8-1 on the year. The Blue Devils host Fillmore (Fillmore, NY) to face the Eagles in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 7. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 6-0. Fillmore won 60-55 in their recent league match against Cuba-Rushford (Cuba, NY)

The Golden Knights now own a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Haverling for a non-league match on Wednesday, January 8.
