Washington High School Basketball - Granger knocks off Riverside Christian
January 3, 2025: Granger, WA 98932 The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Granger Spartans (Granger, WA) and the visiting Riverside Christian Crusaders (Yakima, WA), observed Granger's basketball team overcome Riverside Christian by a score of 65-53.
The Spartans (8-2) will now prepare for their challenge against La Salle (Union Gap, WA). The Lightning come into the non-league challenge with a 6-3 record. In their last challenge, La Salle defeated Liberty Christian (Richland, WA), 63-51, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Crusaders battle the Highland Scots (Cowiche, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 4. Riverside Christian will attempt to improve on its 6-4 season record. The Scots come into the challenge with a 1-7 record after their 56-36 non-league loss to Sunnyside Christian (Sunnyside, WA).
