The Horizon Honors Eagles bounced the host Odyssey Institute Minotaur basketball squad by a final score of 76-16 in Friday's non-league outing.

Next, the Eagles clash with the NFL Yet Academy Eagles (Phoenix, AZ) in a 2A Valley outing, on Tuesday, January 7. Horizon Honors will attempt to upgrade on its 7-5 season record. The Eagles enter the outing with a 2-5 record after their 88-49 non-league loss to Walden Grove (Sahuarita, AZ).

The Minotaur (0-9) will now prepare for their outing against Metro Tech (Phoenix, AZ). The Knights enter the non-league outing with a 0-15 record. In their last outing, Metro Tech was overwhelmed by Tempe Prep (Tempe, AZ), 56-33, in a non-league outing.
