In Friday's league contest, the visiting Manchester Squires basketball team scored a big 72-33 triumph over the Northwestern Tigers.

The Squires (9-1) will now prepare for their contest against Fort Wayne Canterbury (Fort Wayne, IN). The Cavaliers go into the non-league contest with a 3-3 record. In their last contest, Fort Wayne Canterbury was trounced by Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian (Fort Wayne, IN), 76-26, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Tigers battle the Eastern Comets (Greentown, IN) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, January 4. Northwestern will attempt to better on its 4-3 season record. The Comets go into the contest with a 3-4 record after their 64-37 league loss to Taylor (Kokomo, IN).
