The Marquez Gladiators basketball team scored 47 points and limited the visiting Polytechnic Panthers to 40 in the Gladiators non-league triumph on Friday.

The Gladiators now possess a 5-6 record. They play next when they travel to Jordan for a non-league game on Saturday, January 4. Marquez will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 51-34 non-league win over Hamilton (Los Angeles, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 10-4.

With the loss, Polytechnic falls to 10-5 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Hamilton (Los Angeles, CA) to confront the Yankees in a non-league game on Saturday, January 4.
