January 3, 2025: Tyrone, GA 30290

In Friday's non-league test, the Sandy Creek Patriots (Tyrone, GA) basketball squad defeated the visiting McIntosh Chiefs (Peachtree City, GA), by a score of 65-52.

Next, the Patriots clash with the Troup County Tigers (LaGrange, GA) in a AAA Region 2 test, on Saturday, January 4. Sandy Creek will attempt to improve on its 11-2 season record. The Tigers come into the test with a 8-2 record after their 70-55 non-league win over Callaway (Hogansville, GA).

The Chiefs (5-9) will now prepare for their test against Northgate (Newnan, GA). The Vikings come into the AAAAA Region 3 test with a 7-6 record. In their last test, Northgate overcame Osborne (Marietta, GA), 54-52, in a non-league test.
