January 3, 2025: Manson, IA 50563 In Friday's non-league test, the Northwest Webster Cougars (Manson, IA) basketball squad defeated the visiting Webster City Lynx (Webster City, IA), by a margin of 65-54.
The Cougars now have a 8-1 record. They play next when they travel to Ridge View for a non-league game on Monday, January 6. Northwest Webster will confront a Raptors team coming off a 78-58 league win over Odebolt Arthur Battle Creek Ida Grove (Ida Grove, IA). The Raptors record now stands at 7-0.
With the loss, Webster City falls to 4-4 on the campaign. The Lynx host Clear Lake (Clear Lake, IA) to confront the Lions in a North Central game on Tuesday, January 7. The Lions go into the game with a record of 8-0. Clear Lake won 78-62 in their recent non-league game against A-D-M (Adel, IA)
