Nevada High School Basketball - Wooster holds off Portola

The Wooster Colts basketball team scored 61 points and limited the visiting Portola Tigers to 60 in the Colts non-league triumph on Friday.

The Colts now possess a 2-11 record. They play next when they travel to Hug for a 3A Northern - West game on Wednesday, January 8. Wooster will confront a Hawks team coming off a 68-50 non-league win over Mineral County (Hawthorne, NV). The Hawks record now stands at 6-8.

With the loss, Portola falls to 7-4 on the campaign. The Tigers host Oroville (Oroville, CA) to confront the Tigers in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 7. The Tigers go into the game with a record of 5-7. Oroville lost 54-46 in their recent non-league game against Durham (Durham, CA)
