Rose Hill Rockets (Rose Hill, KS) supporters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host West Elk Patriots (Howard, KS), 48-45 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Rose Hill advances its record to 2-4 on the year. The Rockets travel to Wellington (Wellington, KS) to face the Crusaders in a Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail IV match on Tuesday, January 7. The Crusaders enter the match with a record of 2-4. Wellington lost 61-37 in their recent league match against Andale (Andale, KS)

The Patriots now own a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bluestem for a non-league match on Friday, January 10.
