Oregon High School Basketball - Sprague thwarts South Eugene
January 3, 2025: Eugene, OR 97401 Spectators at Friday's non-league contest between the Sprague Olympians (Salem, OR) and the host South Eugene Axe (Eugene, OR), saw Sprague's basketball team thwart South Eugene by a margin of 66-47.
The Olympians (6-3) will now prepare for their contest against Clackamas (Clackamas, OR). The Cavaliers go into the non-league contest with a 6-1 record. In their last contest, Clackamas topped Parkrose (Portland, OR), 70-66, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Axe confront the Glencoe Crimson Tide (Hillsboro, OR) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 7. South Eugene will attempt to better on its 6-4 season record. The Crimson Tide go into the contest with a 4-5 record after their 54-52 non-league win over Aloha (Beaverton, OR).
