January 3, 2025: Fort Worth, TX 76123 The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Trinity Christian Lions (Lubbock, TX) and the host Southwest Christian School Eagles (Fort Worth, TX), observed Trinity Christian's basketball team knock off Southwest Christian School by a score of 83-70.
The Lions (12-11) will now prepare for their challenge against All Saints (Fort Worth, TX). The Saints come into the TAPPS 5A District 1 challenge with a 4-8 record. In their last challenge, All Saints was knocked off by Dallas Christian Academy (Dallas, TX), 75-53, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Eagles encounter the Midland Christian Mustangs (Midland, TX) in a TAPPS 5A District 1 challenge, on Saturday, January 4. Southwest Christian School will attempt to improve on its 4-14 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 6-12 record after their 58-46 non-league loss to Oklahoma City Storm (Oklahoma City, OK).
