Georgia High School Basketball - Troup County sneaks past Valley

January 3, 2025: LaGrange, GA 30241

The Troup County Tigers basketball team scored 71 points and limited the visiting Valley Rams to 64 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Tigers now possess a 9-3 record. They play next when they travel to Sandy Creek for a AAA Region 2 game on Saturday, January 4. Troup County will play a Patriots team coming off a 62-50 non-league win over Alexander (Douglasville, GA). The Patriots record now stands at 9-2.

With the loss, Valley falls to 2-9 on the campaign. The Rams host Beauregard (Opelika, AL) to play the Hornets in a 5A Area 7 game on Tuesday, January 7. The Hornets go into the game with a record of 1-9.
