Indiana High School Basketball - Bellmont holds off Eastside
January 3, 2025: Butler, IN 46721 The Bellmont Braves basketball team scored 54 points and limited the host Eastside Blazers to 52 in the Braves non-league triumph on Friday.
The Braves now possess a 13-1 record. They play next when they host Bluffton for a non-league game on Saturday, January 4. Bellmont will confront a Tigers team coming off a 70-33 league win over Adams Central (Monroe, IN). The Tigers record now stands at 13-1.
With the loss, Eastside falls to 13-1 on the campaign. The Blazers host DeKalb (Waterloo, IN) to confront the Barons in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 7. The Barons go into the game with a record of 9-4. DeKalb won 53-39 in their recent non-league game against Lakewood Park Christian (Auburn, IN)
