January 3, 2025: Minong, WI 54859 Northwood Evergreens (Minong, WI) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Bruce Red Raiders (Bruce, WI), 60-42 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Northwood advances its record to 4-5 on the year. The Evergreens host Washburn (Washburn, WI) to meet the Castle Guards in a non-league match on Monday, January 6. The Castle Guards enter the match with a record of 4-4. Washburn won 32-30 in their recent non-league match against Ashland (Ashland, WI)
The Red Raiders now own a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lake Holcombe for a Lakeland - East match on Tuesday, January 7. Bruce will meet a Chieftains squad coming off a 70-29 non-league loss to Glenwood City (Glenwood City, WI). The Chieftains record now stands at 3-5.
