The Mount Paran Christian Eagles basketball team scored 65 points and limited the visiting Cardinal Mooney Cougars to 57 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Friday.

The Eagles now possess a 14-2 record. They play next when they travel to Booker T. Washington for a non-league game on Saturday, January 4. Mount Paran Christian will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 45-40 non-league loss to Pontotoc (Pontotoc, MS). The Wildcats record now stands at 8-3.

With the loss, Cardinal Mooney falls to 7-8 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Midtown (Atlanta, GA) to confront the Knights in a non-league game on Saturday, January 4.
