The Greenwood Wildcats basketball team scored 57 points and limited the visiting Veritas Academy Monarch to 51 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Friday.

The Wildcats now possess a 8-2 record. They play next when they host Newport for a Tri-Valley game on Tuesday, January 7. Greenwood will confront a Buffaloes team coming off a 36-25 non-league win over Midd-West (Middleburg, PA). The Buffaloes record now stands at 2-3.
