January 3, 2025: Maurice, LA 70555 The North Vermilion Patriots (Maurice, LA) basketball crushed the visiting Kaplan Pirates (Kaplan, LA), 52-27 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Patriots now possess a 13-1 record. They play next when they travel to Church Point for a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 7. North Vermilion will play a Bears team coming off a 55-9 non-league win over Broadmoor (Baton Rouge, LA). The Bears record now stands at 7-11.
With the loss, Kaplan falls to 6-11 on the campaign. The Pirates host Southside (Youngsville, LA) to play the Sharks in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 7. The Sharks go into the bout with a record of 6-9. Southside won 60-43 in their recent non-league bout against West St. Mary (Baldwin, LA)
