In Friday's non-league contest, the host Thomson Bulldogs basketball team scored a big 80-21 win over the Warren County Screaming Devils.

The Bulldogs (12-1) will now prepare for their contest against Cedar Shoals (Athens, GA). The Jaguars come into the non-league contest with a 3-10 record. In their last contest, Cedar Shoals was trounced by Jenkins (Savannah, GA), 43-20, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Screaming Devils battle the Jefferson County Warriors (Louisville, GA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, January 4. Warren County will attempt to better on its 6-6 season record. The Warriors come into the contest with a 4-7 record after their 69-20 league loss to Central (Macon, GA).
