Washington High School Basketball - Curtis triumphant over Yelm
January 3, 2025: Yelm, WA 98597 The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Curtis Vikings (University Place, WA) and the host Yelm Tornados (Yelm, WA), observed Curtis's basketball team overwhelm Yelm by a score of 51-19.
The Vikings (5-4) will now prepare for their challenge against O'Dea (Seattle, WA). The Fighting Irish come into the non-league challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, O'Dea was routed by Auburn (Auburn, WA), 69-53, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Tornados encounter the Emerald Ridge Jaguars (South Hill, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 7. Yelm will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a 9-0 record after their 59-49 non-league win over Olympia (Olympia, WA).
