Washington High School Basketball - Woodland triumphant over La Center
January 3, 2025: Woodland, WA 98674 The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Woodland Beavers (Woodland, WA) and the visiting La Center Wildcats (La Center, WA), observed Woodland's basketball team overwhelm La Center by a score of 50-26.
The Beavers (6-4) will now prepare for their challenge against R.A. Long (Longview, WA). The Lumberjacks come into the non-league challenge with a 4-5 record. In their last challenge, R.A. Long trounced Tenino (Tenino, WA), 47-41, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Columbia Bruins (White Salmon, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 7. La Center will attempt to improve on its 5-2 season record. The Bruins come into the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 57-55 non-league loss to Kalama (Kalama, WA).
