January 3, 2025: Cottondale, AL 35453 The Sipsey Valley Bears (Buhl, AL) basketball edged the host Paul W. Bryant Stampede (Cottondale, AL), 39-33 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Bears now possess a 6-6 record. They play next when they host Brookwood for a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 7. Sipsey Valley will play a Panthers team coming off a 48-40 non-league win over American Christian Academy (Tuscaloosa, AL). The Panthers record now stands at 3-1.
With the loss, Paul W. Bryant falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Stampede travel to Sipsey Valley (Buhl, AL) to play the Bears in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 21. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 6-6.
