Kentucky High School Basketball - Scott County can't hold off West Jessamine
January 3, 2025: Georgetown, KY 40324 West Jessamine Colts (Nicholasville, KY) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Scott County Cardinals (Georgetown, KY), 46-39 in a non-league match.
With the victory, West Jessamine advances its record to 1-0 on the year. The Colts travel to Southwestern (Somerset, KY) to face the Warriors in a non-league match on Saturday, January 4. The Warriors enter the match with a record of 3-0. Southwestern won 48-38 in their recent non-league match against Madison Central (Richmond, KY)
The Cardinals now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Harrison County for a non-league match on Thursday, January 9.
