California High School Soccer - Animo Leadership knocks off Hawthorne
January 3, 2025: Inglewood, CA 90304 Spectators at Friday's non-league challenge between the Animo Leadership Aztec Eagles (Inglewood, CA) and the visiting Hawthorne Cougars (Hawthorne, CA), observed Animo Leadership's soccer squad prevail over Hawthorne by a margin of 4-0.
The Aztec Eagles now hold a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Compton Early College for a challenge on Monday, January 13. Animo Leadership will encounter a Rising Phoenix squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Verbum Dei Jesuit (Los Angeles, CA). The Rising Phoenix record now stands at 0-2.
With the loss, Hawthorne moves to 1-6 on the year. The Cougars host Culver City (Culver City, CA) to encounter the Centaurs in a challenge on Monday, January 6. The Centaurs go into the challenge with a record of 2-1.
