January 4, 2022: Philadelphia, PA 19136 Math Civics & Sciences Mighty Elephants (Philadelphia, PA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Abraham Lincoln Rail Splitters (Philadelphia, PA), 60-58 in a league bout.
With the victory, Math Civics & Sciences upgrades its record to 7-1 on the campaign. The Mighty Elephants travel to St. Augustine (New Orleans, LA) to play the Purple Knights in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 6. The Purple Knights come into the bout with a record of 4-12. St. Augustine lost 56-49 in their recent league bout against John Curtis Christian (River Ridge, LA)
Next up, the Rail Splitters play the Perkiomen School Panthers (Pennsburg, PA) in a non-league bout, on Sunday, January 9. Abraham Lincoln will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 89-62 non-league loss to Northfield Mount Hermon (Mount Hermon, MA).
