Louisiana High School Basketball - Chalmette edges Sci Academy
January 4, 2022: Chalmette, LA 70043 The Chalmette Owls (Chalmette, LA) basketball nipped the visiting Sci Academy Commodores (New Orleans, LA), 64-62 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Owls (3-10) will now prepare for their test against McDonogh 35 (New Orleans, LA). The Roneagles go into the non-league test with a 1-6 record. In their last test, McDonogh 35 was tipped by Archbishop Rummel (Metairie, LA), 48-45, in a non-league test.
The Commodores now own a 8-6 record. They play next when they host Kennedy for a non-league test on Monday, January 10. Sci Academy will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 82-75 non-league loss to Salmen (Slidell, LA). The Cougars record now stands at 9-4.
