In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Avon Orioles (Avon, IN) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Cascade Cadets (Clayton, IN), by a margin of 78-47.

The Orioles (3-7) will now prepare for their outing against Danville (Danville, IN). The Warriors go into the non-league outing with a 8-2 record. In their last outing, Danville was trounced by Tri-West Hendricks (Lizton, IN), 58-45, in a non-league outing.

The Cadets now own a 4-7 record. They play next when they travel to Tri-West Hendricks for a non-league outing on Saturday, January 8. Cascade will encounter a Bruins squad coming off a 47-34 non-league loss to Brownsburg (Brownsburg, IN). The Bruins record now stands at 6-3.
