January 4, 2022: Garden City, TX 79739 The Garden City Bearkats (Garden City, TX) basketball crushed the visiting Balmorhea Bears (Balmorhea, TX), 64-30 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Bearkats (8-3) will now prepare for their test against Bronte (Bronte, TX). The Longhorns go into the non-league test with a 6-5 record.
The Bears now own a 2-7 record. They play next when they host Van Horn for a 1A Region II District 9 test on Tuesday, January 11. Balmorhea will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 59-56 non-league loss to Immanuel Christian (El Paso, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 8-10.
