The Union Area Scotties routed the host Cornell Raiders basketball team by a final score of 65-26 in Tuesday's league game.

In their next game, the Scotties face the Eden Christian Academy (Pittsburgh, PA) in a WPIAL 1A 1 game, on Friday, January 7. Union Area will attempt to move on its 8-1 season record. The enter the game with a 3-1 record after their 58-33 league win over Nazareth Prep (Pittsburgh, PA).
