Tennessee High School Basketball - Fairview nips Independence
January 4, 2022: Fairview, TN 37062 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Fairview Yellowjackets (Fairview, TN) and the visiting Independence Eagles (Thompson's Station, TN), saw Fairview's basketball squad hold off Independence by a count of 73-69.
With the victory, Fairview upgrades its record to 9-4 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets travel to Spring Hill (Columbia, TN) to play the Raiders in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 7. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 1-3.
Next up, the Eagles play the Summit Spartans (Spring Hill, TN) in a 4A District 12 challenge, on Saturday, January 8. Independence will attempt to upgrade on its 10-3 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 6-8 record after their 41-39 non-league loss to Franklin (Franklin, TN).
