Oregon High School Basketball - Grants Pass can't hold off Willamette
January 4, 2022: Eugene, OR 97402 The Grants Pass Cavemen basketball team (Grants Pass, OR), was nudged 42-38 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Willamette Wolverines (Eugene, OR)
The Wolverines now possess a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eagle Point for a 5A Midwestern battle on Friday, January 14.
The Cavemen (2-6) will now prepare for their battle against Mountain View (Bend, OR). The Cougars come into the non-league battle with a 7-1 record. In their last battle, Mountain View edged Crook County (Prineville, OR), 75-55, in a non-league battle.
