January 4, 2022: Jetmore, KS 67854 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Hodgeman County Longhorns (Jetmore, KS) and the visiting Spearville Lancers (Spearville, KS), saw Hodgeman County's basketball squad wallop Spearville by a count of 48-27.
With the victory, Hodgeman County upgrades its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Longhorns host South Central (Coldwater, KS) to play the Timberwolves in a Southern Plains-Iroquois challenge on Friday, January 7. The Timberwolves come into the challenge with a record of 4-2. South Central won 54-34 in their recent non-league challenge against Minneola (Minneola, KS)
Next up, the Lancers play the Ashland Blue Jays (Ashland, KS) in a Southern Plains-Iroquois challenge, on Friday, January 7. Spearville will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Blue Jays come into the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 65-37 non-league loss to Pawnee Heights (Rozel, KS).
