January 4, 2022: Story City, IA 50248 The Iowa Falls-Alden Cadets (Iowa Falls, IA) basketball nipped the host Roland-Story Norsemen (Story City, IA), 48-45 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Cadets (7-1) will now prepare for their test against Humboldt (Humboldt, IA). The Wildcats go into the North Central test with a 7-0 record. In their last test, Humboldt got by Garner-Hayfield/Ventura (Garner, IA), 48-47, in a non-league test.
The Norsemen now own a 8-1 record. They play next when they travel to West Marshall for a non-league test on Friday, January 7. Roland-Story will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 67-64 league loss to East Marshall (Le Grand, IA). The Trojans record now stands at 4-6.
