Michigan High School Basketball - Lakeland tops South Lyon
January 4, 2022: South Lyon, MI 48178 Lakeland Eagles (White Lake, MI) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host South Lyon Lions (South Lyon, MI), 69-53 in a league bout.
With the victory, Lakeland upgrades its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Eagles host Milford (Highland, MI) to play the Mavericks in a Lakes Valley bout on Friday, January 7. The Mavericks come into the bout with a record of 5-1. Milford won 69-61 in their recent league bout against Kettering (Waterford, MI)
Next up, the Lions play the South Lyon East Cougars (South Lyon, MI) in a Lakes Valley bout, on Friday, January 7. South Lyon will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Cougars come into the bout with a 1-5 record after their 48-37 league loss to Walled Lake Central (Walled Lake, MI).
