California High School Basketball - Placer overwhelms Rio Linda
January 4, 2022: Auburn, CA 95603 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Placer Hillmen (Auburn, CA) and the visiting Rio Linda Knights (Rio Linda, CA), saw Placer's basketball squad wallop Rio Linda by a count of 69-41.
With the victory, Placer upgrades its record to 13-3 on the campaign. The Hillmen host Durham (Durham, CA) to play the Trojans in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 7. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 13-2. Durham won 66-36 in their recent league challenge against Paradise (Paradise, CA)
Next up, the Knights play the Lincoln Fighting Zebras (Lincoln, CA) in a Foothill Valley challenge, on Tuesday, January 11. Rio Linda will attempt to upgrade on its 8-5 season record. The Fighting Zebras come into the challenge with a 13-2 record after their 65-64 league win over Nevada Union (Grass Valley, CA).
