Alabama High School Basketball - Sardis crushes West End
January 4, 2022: Walnut Grove, AL 35990 Sardis Lions (Boaz, AL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host West End Patriots (Walnut Grove, AL), 63-30 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Sardis upgrades its record to 11-6 on the season. The Lions host Douglas (Douglas, AL) to clash with the Eagles in a 5A Area 13 bout on Friday, January 7. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 14-3. Douglas won 69-68 in their recent non-league bout against Westbrook Christian (Rainbow City, AL)
Next up, the Patriots clash with the Locust Fork Hornets (Locust Fork, AL) in a 2A Area 11 bout, on Friday, January 7. West End will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Hornets go into the bout with a 8-4 record after their 60-53 league loss to Southeastern (Remlap, AL).
