Iowa High School Basketball - Southeast Valley nips South Hamilton
January 4, 2022: Jewell, IA 50130 Southeast Valley Jaguars (Gowrie, IA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host South Hamilton Hawks (Jewell, IA), 45-40 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Southeast Valley upgrades its record to 6-2 on the season. The Jaguars travel to Alta-Aurelia (Alta, IA) to play the Warriors in a Twin Lakes bout on Friday, January 7. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 3-5. Alta-Aurelia won 52-29 in their recent non-league bout against Maple Valley-Anthon-Oto/Charter Oak-Ute (Mapleton, IA)
Next up, the Hawks play the Prairie City-Monroe Mustangs (Monroe, IA) in a Heart of Iowa - Large bout, on Friday, January 7. South Hamilton will attempt to upgrade on its 2-8 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 5-5 record after their 54-30 non-league win over Earlham (Earlham, IA).
