Kentucky High School Basketball - Nelson County knocked off by Christian Academy-Louisville
January 4, 2022: Bardstown, KY 40004 The Christian Academy-Louisville Centurions basketball team scored 68 points and held the host Nelson County Cardinals to 55 in the Centurions non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Centurions now sport a 12-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bardstown for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 6. Christian Academy-Louisville will battle a Tigers team coming off a 54-52 non-league loss to Owen County (Owenton, KY). The Tigers record now stands at 4-4.
The Cardinals (5-7) will now prepare for their contest against Bethlehem (Bardstown, KY). The Eagles/Banshees enter the District 19 contest with a 5-5 record. In their last contest, Bethlehem ran past Mercer County (Harrodsburg, KY), 53-36, in a non-league contest.
