Missouri High School Basketball - Gilman City can't hold off Tri-County
January 4, 2022: Gilman City, MO 64642 The Tri-County Mustangs basketball team scored 48 points and held the host Gilman City Hawks to 46 in the Mustangs league triumph on Tuesday.
The Mustangs now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mercer for a HDC bout on Friday, January 7. Tri-County will play a Cardinals squad coming off a 57-16 non-league win over Winston (Winston, MO). The Cardinals record now stands at 9-1.
Next up, the Hawks play the Grundy County Panthers (Galt, MO) in a HDC bout, on Friday, January 7. Gilman City will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 1-10 record after their 43-32 non-league loss to Linn County (Purdin, MO).
