Northern Guilford Nighthawks (Greensboro, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Northwest Guilford Vikings (Greensboro, NC), 62-37 in a league bout.

With the win, Northern Guilford upgrades its record to 11-0 on the season. The Nighthawks travel to Page (Greensboro, NC) to play the Pirates in a 4A Conference 55 bout on Friday, January 7. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 5-6. Page won 61-29 in their recent league bout against Western Guilford (Greensboro, NC)

Next up, the Vikings play the Ragsdale Tigers (Jamestown, NC) in a 4A Conference 55 bout, on Friday, January 7. Northwest Guilford will attempt to upgrade on its 8-5 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 5-5 record after their 55-48 non-league loss to Northwest Guilford (Greensboro, NC).
