Kentucky High School Basketball - Floyd Central can't hold off Pike County Central

The Pike County Central Hawks basketball team scored 56 points and held the host Floyd Central Jaguars to 53 in the Hawks non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Hawks now sport a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Johnson Central for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 12.

The Jaguars (8-5) will now prepare for their contest against Rowan County (Morehead, KY). The Vikings enter the non-league contest with a 6-7 record. In their last contest, Rowan County was nudged by Mason County (Maysville, KY), 80-54, in a non-league contest.
