Galloway Scots (Atlanta, GA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Landmark Christian War Eagles (Fairburn, GA), 52-46 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Galloway upgrades its record to 10-5 on the campaign. The Scots host Cristo Rey Atlanta (Atlanta, GA) to play the in a non-league bout on Friday, January 6. The come into the bout with a record of 10-5. Cristo Rey Atlanta lost 65-53 in their recent non-league bout against McIntosh (Peachtree City, GA)

Next up, the War Eagles play the Eagle's Landing Christian Academy Chargers (McDonough, GA) in a AA Region 5 bout, on Friday, January 6. Landmark Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record. The Chargers come into the bout with a 4-9 record after their 78-63 non-league loss to Stratford Academy (Macon, GA).
