The Smoky Hill Buffaloes basketball team scored 72 points and held the host Gardena Panthers to 60 in the Buffaloes non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Buffaloes now sport a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Manual for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 12.

The Panthers (7-11) will now prepare for their contest against North Hollywood (North Hollywood, CA). The Huskies enter the non-league contest with a 11-5 record. In their last contest, North Hollywood was defeated by Hamilton (Los Angeles, CA), 67-52, in a non-league contest.
