Maryland High School Basketball - Hereford holds off Owings Mills
January 4, 2023: Parkton, MD 21120 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Hereford Bulls (Parkton, MD) and the visiting Owings Mills Golden Eagles (Owings Mills, MD), saw Hereford's basketball squad hold off Owings Mills by a tally of 49-42.
With the victory, Hereford improves its record to 7-1 on the campaign. The Bulls host Parkville (Baltimore, MD) to confront the Knights in a Baltimore County 1 challenge on Friday, January 6. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 8-0. Parkville won 59-57 in their recent non-league challenge against Gaithersburg (Gaithersburg, MD)
Next up, the Golden Eagles confront the Pikesville Panthers (Baltimore, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 11. Owings Mills will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 9-1 record after their 71-50 non-league win over Dundalk (Baltimore, MD).
